I have no problem with using Maxis content in your adventures, and heck I advise doing it when you're getting the hang of it. It's not very tedious and it plays rather easily, but it's horribly made what with them not even bothering to make their own content and just shoving pre-made Maxis stuff on there and bad terraforming. Others have the problem where it's reversed.
